Im going to refret it. Ive read that Mighty Mite necks are hit and miss some people get lucky some dont. Heres what I can tell you do not buy one of these necks if you plan on simply dropping it into your Strat.

Reviewed in the United States on April 27 2019. I watched and read a lot of reviews prior to buying this Mighty Mite Neck for my Strat. When compared against Fender Warmouth and Squire the consensus seemed to be that most preferred this neck.
The neck heel is not finished very well and actually there is a single hole drilled in the heel for unknown to me reason. I have bought 10 cheap Chinese necks off eBay and Amazon never paying over 30 and half of those necks were of equal or better quality compared to the US made Mighty Mite neck. All in one very disappointed.

It is a C-shape maple neck with a Indian Rosewood fretboard 22 medium-jumbo frets. They put a cheap plastic nut on the neck which caused stri. For the price which was about 13 the price of equivalent product elsewhere this is outstanding.

The wood is nicer the fit and finish is better the frets are level and theyre well finished. This was not true in the past. The one area that could stand to get a little better is the nut.
Its plastic which is a low end nut material and it needs some tweaking before playingwhich is better than a pre-finished nut. Maple tends to be a good bet with Mighty Mite. The Rosewood necks have poorer reviews.
Personally I just bought my second 2928 neck jumbo frets because I love the first one so much. Plays with a super low action without buzz and is fast looks great and sounds great. Ive also had god luck with mighty mite necks.
The fret work is usually very good- surprisingly good actually- and they seem to be strong necks too. They hold up to heavy strings nicely. Better than AllParts and others imo.
The only thing I dislike about the mm fretless is the fingerboard. I have never had one of the fretless necks but I dont like the idea of the ebonol board which is. If I were to have known better when I had it swapped from a fretless neck I would have spent the extra loot on a Fender neck. Id go original if you can swing it.
